Nectar Meadows Apiaries is proud to offer raw honey, six frame nucleus colonies, and mated queens of Italian descent to the general public. Our raw honey is the product of nectar gathered from a varying and abundant source of tree and plant species in the area. Nectar source examples are alfalfa, basswood, blackberry, clover, and star thistle, to name a few. Nucleus colonies of honeybees are produced and offered for sale early spring through summer and mated queens are reared late spring through early fall. Morgan Tiry, the apiarist of Nectar Meadows Apiaries is dedicated to developing a hardy strain of honeybee acclimatized to Northern Wisconsin’s harsh winters. Nectar Meadows Apiaries will now rent honeybees for pollination of small Farm Crops, Gardens, Orchards and more. Large and small hives are available to fit the needs of everyone. We will also consider renting to own colonies of honeybees to those who are not sure if they are able to make the commitment before giving it a try.
